THROUGH THE Film Investment Program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), twelve master directors of local cinema shall be awarded cash grants (P 1.5 million each) to fund their respective feature films, utilizing their own material, with their hometowns as backdrop for the Sineng Pambansa National Film Festival All Masters Edition on September 7, 2013.
Kasama sa twelve master directors ay sina Elwood Perez (Proserpina de Manila), Romy Suzara (May Tinik ang Huwad na Bulaklak), Jun Urbano , Gil Portes (Crossroad), Maryo J. de los Reyes (The River), Peque Gallaga & Loren Reyes (Sonata), Mel Chionglo (Lorenzita), Chito Roño (Badil), Tikoy Aguiluz (Eman), Joel Lamangan (Lihis), Carlito Siguion-Reyna, and Jose Javier Reyes. Sa title pa lang, may mystery agad sa bawat istorya ng kanilang pelikula. Ikinatuwa ng entertainment press ang magandang layunin ng FDCP na muling pasiglahin ang movie industry. Makagawa ng mga makabuluhang pelikula at mabigyan ng recognition sa ibang bansa.
