ANG BAGONG batas na isinusulong sa Senado hinggil sa maanomalyang pampadulas at lagay sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno ay maaaring maging pangunahing solusyon sa matagal nang nakagawian sa gobyerno kung saan talamak ang paglalagay sa pamamagitan ng regalo o pera.
Ang Senate Bill 118 o “law against influence peddling” ay isinulat ni Senador Francis Escudero. Ito ang sinasabi ng SB 118: It would be unlawful for any person “ to represent himself as being able to influence, either orally or otherwise to facilitate or assist another person with business , application, request or contract with the government in which a public official or employee has to act or intervene.”
